劉儲秀"]},{"id":"chapter-1-section-23","title":"對山先生集序","paragraphs":["夫詩病於六朝綺麗之辭矣子昂變之而雅興文衰於八代萎弱之習矣昌黎振之而古作蓋中人承學大人虎變苟非其責其道何從此雖人情之習尚而實運會之所關也自五胡亂華中原板蕩斯文元氣凋喪弗存及於元宋迭代作者繼出詩非不興而呰窳成習文雖有作而氣岸弗振迨至我　明神祖闡教 列聖興文文人才士戶牗爭開國初作者尚復渾厚及於弘治氣漸紛靡鬪巧爭能蕪沒先進競一韻之艱爭本字之巧上倡下和一趨百隨待人後行誰當作者天厭其弊篤生浚哲既弘詩矢?見又開文運三唐不能限其蹤兩漢不能窺其際馳驅屈宋陵轢班馬洗近代之陋成一家之言非才識高邁鍾氣通靈者能如此哉故孝宗臨御拊髀求賢策七得公列置第一朝野快覩如鳥歸鳳 皇上喜其得人宰執疾其盛巳賈董升堂綘灌瞋目是時信陽何仲默關中李獻吉王敬夫號為海內三才而公尤獨步雖三君亦讓其雄也當時語曰李倡其詩康振其文文章賴以司命學士尊為標的前失作者後啟英明非橫制頹波筆參造化者歟此特公之文章耳若夫經綸之學參贊之才上追伊周下陋管晏使少自括囊不為高論功業烜赫文辭掩矣然德不遇時害能成謗石抵玉捐鳶逐鳳舉兩君既逝何李厄塞造化忌才人謀何尤或者曰文王囚而大易演子輿藏而七篇著天欲公立言表世垂訓作則故屈其身俾不大耀焉公歿之六年值中丞東厓翁公撫臨關中搜其集付西安守六泉吳君刻之以傳前此洪洋趙公嘗欲板行而屬餘為序移文藩司墮而弗舉今東厓公之刊佈與六泉君之欣承是亦有數也嗟呼餘與先生交好將二十餘年矣其勭遊山水討論文藝未始一月無者間嘗語餘為訂其集且序之今果序其集如此嗚呼悲哉嘉靖二十四年乙巳春正月乙巳太微山人張治道序","刻對山先生集敘","翰林修撰對山康先生集凡若干篇編次甫成嘗託其友比部張太微重加校讎且序之先生逝矣言猶抂耳於是太微方謀板行適中丞翁東厓訪得其集既巳撫卷太息遂檄西安吳守六泉鋟梓?傅並屬予識之竊惟對山諸製作馳驅屈宋陵轢班馬巳具見於太微序中夫復何言但緬懷平生而感慨益切何則昔宋學士王梅溪共稱儒宗匪特掄魁而巳沒幾十餘年其文集尚藏於家後劉共父帥建康因其子聞詩抂府每請序諸簡端猶未敢當轉求晦翁代筆焉至聞詩守浮光時始刻諸江陵夷考其顛末蓋不知幾歲月矣今對山沒世未久即遇二三知己相與樂成其事如此回視龜齡不為不幸矣然梅溪生雖末季猶遇孝宗諸君特賜及第充館職擢侍御史召權吏部侍郎不拜出守四郡復入為太子詹事進直龍圖閣學士方致仕焉故功業文章烜赫一時其奏議數十篇尤為人所傳誦雲對山生逢 明世且當我孝廟右文之時擢冠多士詞林允服然自修撰以來十年不調及居憂回籍哀毀踰禮是誠恪守官箴鮮見其儔者也言官弗知亦巳矣反□為逆瑾同鄉遂論罷終身公論抂人固不待辯向使復起圖報尤力侍帷幄則緝聖學知制誥則黼黻皇猷功業文章將與梅溪媲美矣顧垂老山林無由表見縉紳贈答之餘非咲傲乾坤則平章凬月彼筆墨蹊徑恐未能□耳所謂成一家之言者觀此益信其它樂府傳奇亦皆可錄然各有別乘巳傳於世雲 嘉靖乙巳夏六月癸未西陂山人劉儲秀序","【制策】","制策","臣對臣聞天下有不可易之道而常獲於人主有不敢易之心蓋天下之事未有舍道而能集者而道固不可易也心之所向道之弘否所關一有所易則所以修乎身者必不能車用其力而道之在我知之不明守之不固甫遷於此或轉於彼雖欲勤勵以求治而張弛予奪一無所據窺伺媒孽之輩共起而乘之雖有賢人君子立於其朝漫不相信甚者或斥譴罷去不為之所天下之治將焉所賴而成乎惟有以真知道之不可易其心常憂勤惕厲而不敢以毫苟且輕率之意雜之於中擇之必精執之必固使用人取善各有定則賢否莫吾亂而君子小人不相尢既得其人而任之以事則政夥不舉而法無不振天下廢臺宜無有不成者矣古之人若未有不達於是而能致其治者也亦未有徒達於是其心終有易焉而能以無弊者也洪惟皇帝陛下以至聖之德撫盈成之運十五年來民安物阜雖堯舜禹湯文武之業亦不過此而 策士之詔乃猶惓惓焉以化之不弘治之不洽為念陛下豈誠有未達於是而猶□於問哉臣有以仰窺 聖心之於道固有不自易焉者也臣嘗謂古今豪傑之士不得所遇雖子思孟軻之流亦且徒爾而 臣之庸昧乃際遇若此 臣敢有所諱而不言哉 臣惟天下之深患在於久安極治而機括所不見者莫為之虞陛下夙夜兢兢忍弘化理此□宜也然用於巳不若資於人求諸今莫若法於古古之君心純乎道未嘗敢以為易故其用人行政有非後世之所能及如啟當禪授之後繼禹之業守之以敬而伯益之用終始無間故道之得於禹者無廢墜不舉者矣中宗高宗一切信任陟扈傳說之屬而又本以嚴恭寅畏恭默思道之心成商之治夫豈無所據邪殷之頑民雜於管蔡武庚之手武王之澤未洽也使非悔悟於周公篤信於君?借有成康繼序不忘之思旌別淑慝之意而禮樂之化豈能如詩書所道哉程頤曰聖王以求任輔相為先歐陽修曰君之聖者以辨君子與小人蓋政以人而舉人既存則政自無偏弊不舉之患而治之在天下者可成也 陛下欲求數君致治之績獨可舍此而他務邪亦惟有不敢易之心而已天下之政孰有出於人主之心者況用人之際又其本原所自之地哉聖制所謂簡賢為輔用君子不惑於小人誠灼見其必然而憂勤之心有不能自己者也蓋大君為天地之宗子必有大臣以為宗子之家相相之職所以輔飬君德而贊成政化天子不可一日無者豈惟憂商周為然皋夔稷契之流雖堯舜之世亦不可無也若其賢與□則必辨之於先而後可□之於後苟辨之不□用之不當則天下之禍反岡不可言者矣何者以西夫之賤而上與天子□事□所為操縱□奪者無一不為天下之所稟受使心術或不正而學識或不醇則其所壞非□□同之一節一端而巳故必先有不敢易之心然後修之身者無往不實修之身者既實則出乎我者無乎不正而人之邪正自無所匿於是擇其賢者而用之則輔相得矣
