●獻徵錄序\n古之良史欲紀一代之事必先儲其林以偫之龍門蘭臺之史毋論家有世業緒而成書所取林於世本國策秦史記與夫中壘父子東觀諸儒之述作何具備也近代若豐城之列卿紀琅琊之弇山別集琬琰錄皆有意憲章博之地雖未能如海塩之拓徵吾今言為全書然傳諸□林蔚稱秘典若舉一代王侯將相賢士大夫山林瓢衲之□鉅細畢收母患堙薆實未有□澹園先生之獻徵錄者先生天授異才幾鄰殆庶知通聖統上比素臣自首廷對領史官毅然思有以自舉其軄□毫相視薄而不為誠所謂業傳二正才擅三長者矣會陳文憲公議修　國朝正史與王文肅公共欲以此事顓先生先生謂蓋眾獨賢固辭不可遂與詞臣分紀其事然而先生胷中實具有成書即文憲所建議矢見畫大氐皆發端於先生者也於是取累朝訓錄方國紀志與家乘野史門分類別採而緝之自禁中之副名山之藏通都大邑之傳畢登於簡一代史林犂然大備茲錄固其一爾當是時使先生從容禁林次苐茟削日月不刊唾手可冀而為時所忌歸臥東山廣內之儲匱而在笥豈不惜哉然先生意不忍忘時為讎校緒成其業多至百二十卷蓋其目廣於列卿者什五其人多於琬琰者什七至折衷是非綜校名實闕疑而傳其信斥似而採其真所謂其義則某竊取之先生於此實有獨鑑異乎徒事網羅靡所澄汰愛奇好異濫情實者矣學士大夫嚮往此書借觀至於簡渝傳寫為之紙貴乃從友人茅生之請取畀之梓然每類間為梓者有所裁避先生意雖飪之而成書具存異日發其大全固可竢也此錄出而一代之□林政事如指□堂覽□□之為政鑑作者資之為史林如先生自謂者所裨豈其微哉餘嘗觀古來作者後先相踵史才實難其人昌黎文起八代之衰至為順宗實錄何闊略也又以避祻守默重為柳州所譏眉山才氣從橫俯視千古友人用史事□之以才非當家遜不敢任退而處於廬陵之後史之難其人也如此當吾世而有先生豈非□事國朝之史有專官無專業自會要輟編木天諸儒不領著作簪茟紀言起居章奏而外未有聞也史之難其書也如此當吾世有先生而為此書又豈非盛事餘誠願上一日大關金匱石室徵先生此之緒成立史垂諸萬世執此以往先生得無意乎即不然而詔賜茟札錄副禁中私家所藏褒進為公史如班書故事固東漢以來作者之殊遘也昔劉子玄手著史通掎摘古人不遺餘力至身為史官以作非一人詒書僚長徒抱汗青無日之嘆如先生與眾共業退矣而猶思儲一代之史材以信今傳後人之度量相越不亦遠哉天下事何不可為也予□乃益信賢者之有益於人國矣\n萬曆丙辰同裡晚學頋起元撰\n夫自虞夏書誥以來龍門而下涑水而上有一代之人必有一代之事而勒一代之史故史以徵事以徵人夫史非徒侈詞藻誇聞見而已大而國體隱而民瘼賾而世務殽而材品當時治亂□衰得失之林誡覆轍標芳車丸於是乎在故曰文武之政□在方冊史之不可以已也　夫士大夫戔之者趣富貴如騖安事詩書即有□倫之姿愛奇矜慱注之高視千古之上迂談六合之外而問以當代行事與人物材品高下代謝之數則舌舉目睬莫能置對闕文殘簡誰與正之故殷夏之禮正於杞","is_preview":true,"preview_page_limit":10}
