序\n神仙以老子為宗。老子處世，事事不與人爭。外捐榮華，內養生壽。安和定靜，無為自然。然無為，則凡天下之異端邪術，競躁紛紛，詭怪奇行，機詐擾擾，皆非老子之教也。曰自然，則所行所作，順情合理，體造化而流行可知也。守中無邊，觀空無相。致虛守靜，深藏若虛。不矜奇，不立異，故史書稱古隱君子。《道德》五千言，援古語以立論。治世、修身，皆可用也。吾儕平日讀《道德經》，雖不解其義蘊，而存心操品，竊願學焉。深山窮谷之間，同心二三人為侶，出入煙霞，攜杖而歌聖化，不識、不知，順帝之則，以是為藏拙雲耳。\n一日，遊道觀間，見有《圓嶠外史》數函，講論延年之學，不失老子之道。其中有《十三經註解》，皆老子書也。《道德》一注，最為精詳。末附《循途九層》，更為切近淺顯，因詢黃冠曰：“樹下先生，何人也？”曰：“隱於農者也。”乃訪先生於卷山，許為巢由同調，授以真機。\n退而刊《十三經》，存於書肆，以著先生婆心。外將《道德》、《九層》印送琳宮梵宇。是書也，簡編少而真訣全，我數人便於行習，成己成人，其在斯乎？並念受書為徒之語，各依道派，自立世外間名，以為大江之行潦溪澗焉。紫霞受教於回翁，吾等繼派紫霞，有淵源也。\n嗟乎！天地間事，如愚數人者，皆不必爭，且不能爭也。道育年七十矣，道生亦近古稀矣，道和亦非少年矣。山林之內，有何可樂？惟佩此《道德》一注，《九層》一篇，長歌崖壑，響遏溪雲，各忘其姓氏甲子而已矣。\n道光柔兆敦牂律中南呂之月，蜀山三隱者識。\n## 純陽先生序\n老君《道德》，無為為也。《正義》注箋，不作作也。道祖傳之，道裔述之，大道於此益明。則如有涵虛子者仙才也。金書入夢，生於樹下人家。世居卷山，代傳淳厚。載錫之璋，固其宜也。幼而絕悟，長而玄修。嘗讀《方壺外史》，竊欲登真入化，與陸子左右吾側。予聞而訪之，託名吾山道士，攜潛虛相隨，以觀其志氣。僻居在峨峰東崦，閒靜少言，不樂榮利，常以一琴適其志而已。予與相見後，復相俱者有年，時以重玄語之，言下輒悟。乃奮其才力，作《圓嶠外史》，蓋陸子之對峙也。是故陸有《玄膚論》，此即有《道竅談》，陸有《就正篇》，此即有《循途說》，是皆清真之文也。而其最妙者，《道德經》一注，尤足為萬古明燈，名之曰《東來正義》，與陸子《南華副墨》相埒。若二子者，乃可謂善談老、莊者也。夫注此經者，有五惡，有三美。五惡者：偏於言治世，一也。偏於言治身，二也。或知道包身世，而語無印合，終入旁歧，三也。不識至道功修，先要民安國富，乃克無為，若下筆即談清靜，必至流於空寂，四也。不識至道德力，總要歸根覆命，乃算有為，若下筆即談聖神，必致同於贊偈，五也。三美者何？道合內外，注分正副，越顯經義含宏，此一美也。門筍接脈，找補照應，務使經義貫通，此二美也。胸有真參，口無禪障，能令經義宣昭，此三美也。吾嘗慨《道德》之旨不明於天下，欲飛筆而註解之，至於今猶歉然也。茲見涵虛所述，有三美而無五惡，使其早出千年，則諸家可以不注，道人亦不必再饒舌也。爰樂舉而評點之，藏之名山，傳之志士。所以評點者，亦以藉此注之真義，補吾之未注，而示於評點間也。\n題《東來正義》詩\n回翁首序定評論，自序尤開入德門。又見關中來紫氣，直看李下毓玄孫。欲教後世人同度，能使先天道益尊。多少注家無此本，寶函長護鎮崑崙。\n——玉樞右相，太清洞玄校理修行功過、兼選仙事，遼東玄玄道人、侍友張全一拜題於青阜。\n一注能將道奧開，重看紫氣自東來。彈琴度笛真名士，說法談經大辯才。我住方壺玩滄海，君登圓嶠壓蓬萊。今朝共坐江亭上，口誦《南華》自笑呆。\n——三清總校真函、兼洞天秘藏事、文明普度先生、東派祖師、同仙史館、愚弟陸西星拜題。\n身在雲山道在躬，淵然神炁最沉雄。著書青島嚴馳外，止炎丹田靜守中。人竟稱為大院長，我偏戲喚長城公。藩籬《道德》憑箋註，契悟諸經語總同。\n——天仙白瓊琯拜書。\n《道德經》註釋（《東嚴正義》）\n圓嶠山紫霞洞主人涵虛生薰沐敬注\n奉道弟子朱道生、李道育校刊於岳陽樓\n## 第一章\n【道可道，非常“道”，名可名，非常“名”。】\n道也者，內以治身，外以治世，日用常行之道也。道之費隱不可道，道之發見則可道。統發見於費隱之中，至廣至微，故道為非常之道也。名在無極不可名，名在太極則可名。生太極於無極之內，能靜能動，故名為非常之名也。\n集補：人所共由則曰道。可道者，可述也。非常之道，斯為大道也。欲著其狀則曰名。可名者，可擬也。非常之名，斯無定名也。\n【無名，天地之始；有名，萬物之母。】\n無名：即無極也。有名：即太極也。無變為有，真無定名也。無極渾然之初，無兆，無形，本無聲臭之可擬，道所以在天地之始也。太極判然之後，有生、有育，即有造化之可徵，道所以為萬物之母也。萬物者：統天地而言之。先天地而有此道，則生天、生地、生人、生物，不啻一大父母也。言母而父在其中矣。\n【故常無慾以觀其妙，常有欲以觀其徼。】（徼同竅。《永樂大典》無故字，一本無常字）\n妙即無名之物，故凝，常靜以觀之。徼，即有名之物，故運，常應以觀之。無慾、有欲，常靜、常應也。以無慾觀無名，以有欲觀有名。丹家以玄關為有無","is_preview":true,"preview_page_limit":10}
