和序\n醫家惟小兒科為尤難。蓋自其能言而被病者，猶可以問而知之，而其未能言者，不可以問而知也。《史》言扁鵲入咸陽，為小兒醫，然鵲之書多不傳其言。有曰：望而知之謂之神，聞而知之謂之聖，鵲之術固不在於書歟。信斯言也！惟鵲為可也。夫醫不可以無書也，太倉公乃亦以醫者意耳，不肯為書，使倉公者常有於世焉，雖無書可也，如倉公之不常有。何哉？且吾聞學醫者，與學儒無異。儒者求聖賢之心法，以有聖賢之書存焉耳。醫無其書，則軒岐之心法泯焉而不傳久矣。又何由而學之？故醫書之浩衍，與儒書相埒，殆又過之。然板行於天下，人得而有之者，往往大方脈之書為多，彼為小兒者，每以專科自名，或私得一方，即祖父子孫相傳，世享其利，他人萬金罔顧授也。其肯與天下後世公共之哉？育溪曾君，用儒攻醫，得戴劉二家之傳，自少至老，凡活人之幼者，枚數不知幾何人。在證處方，皆超然眾醫之表，乃以得之師傳者，廣粹精核，為活幼心書一編。既成不以私其家，將以公之天下後世，使為其術者，無學醫廢人之患。凡人之幼，皆有成人之望焉，濃哉育溪之用心也，人孰無此心哉？皆能以育溪之心為心則善矣。雖然，書本陳言，心須活法，或徒泥其書而不善用，譬之兵家，不知合變，膠柱而調瑟焉，吾未見其可也。昔臨安李立之者，以小兒科擅名一時。\n有嬰兒忽病喑，求治之，立之令人乘高撲之地下，以一衾盛之，兒不覺大驚，遂發聲能言。問之。曰：此乳搐心也，非藥所能療。此活法之說也，因附著之。\n泰定丁卯閏九月朔中議大夫前同知海北海南道宣慰使司事副都元帥和尼赤序\n## 廉序\n育溪曾德顯，儒家者流，明小方脈，幼幼之心，不啻父母仁人之用心也。餘家有襁褓童子，感驚風疾，其父母者鹹憂焉，德顯乃不憚煩暑，隨招隨至，一視之曰：毋慮。遂用對證之藥療之。藥未既而效已隨之，誠可嘉尚。原其平昔用心之勤，集諸方書之經驗者，著以成帙，目之曰《活幼心書》。夫心者，虛靈善應，神妙不測，主宰一身，應酬萬事者也。推展此心以及人及物，使顛連無告者為同胞，癢疾痛者為同體，乃刻諸梓，以廣其傳。非惟傳之今，亦且傳諸後。俾後人亦能推此心以及人及物，則活幼之心為無窮也，豈曰小補哉。\n天曆己巳八月廿又一日朝散大夫同知衡州路總管府事廉公亮引\n## 吳序\n人得天地生物之心以為心，則當視天地萬物為一體，癢疾痛，舉切吾身，仁者事也。先儒謂醫家以手足痿痺為不仁，斯言善狀仁字，蓋手足痺則氣脈不相通，痛癢無所覺，心之生道息矣，烏得仁？況醫家之於嬰孩，語言未足辨，脈理未足憑，必能以心體之，然後可以察其癢痛疾之所在。非有志於仁者，其能若是乎？西曾君德顯，儒而為醫，幼從鄉先生李月山，固已得儒學於心授，長從世醫劉氏，又能得醫學於心傳，精讀醫經，詳味藥性，參前輩之奧議，伸自己之獨見，有求必應，不倦於貧，集其平時論證與方，名曰《活幼心書》。將與同志共之。夫作書以述其心之所用，而且克廣其傳，亦庶乎仁者之用心矣。嘗觀其書，則審證施劑，信有異乎人者。五苓散在諸家止用之解傷寒溫溼暑毒霍亂，而德顯於驚風痰搐瘡疹等疾，通四時而用之，前同知衡州府事胡省齋因其子驚風得愈，問之曰：五苓散何以愈斯疾乎？德顯曰：此劑內用茯苓，可以安此心之神。用澤瀉導小便，小腸利而心氣通。木得桂而枯，足能抑肝之氣，而風自止，所以能療驚風。施之他證，亦皆有說。省齋深然之，此其善用五苓散也。小兒驚風搐掣，醫者視為一病，輒以金石腦麝蜈蠶蛇蠍等劑投之，非徒無益，反激他證。德顯則謂有因驚風而搐者，有因氣鬱而搐者。驚屬心，風屬肝，而鬱於氣者亦有搐。陳氏所謂蓄氣而成搐者是也，但未著其方。餘於驚風則隨證施治，若氣鬱而搐者，則用寬氣飲治之，只以枳殼枳實為主。嘗因患搐者，","is_preview":true,"preview_page_limit":10}
